Cinnamon rolls don't have calories

Mmmmm....breakfast. Waking up is not my favorite thing in the world but breakfast is definitely one of my favorite things in the world. I would rather MountainMan take me out for breakfast than for dinner. Adding to my love for breakfast I have channeled the Pioneer Woman and made her cinfully delicious cinnamon rolls...twice. (Good thing MountainMan and I got a gym membership, right?) My mouth is watering just thinking about them....

This is actually the makings of the orange roll, but you get the gist...

Now the cinnamon rolls....

See what I mean....

This is just one of many of her recipes MountainMan and I have tried and we have yet to be disappointed. Have I mentioned that I want to be just like her when I grow up? I do.

Early morning duck hunt....I don't remember agreeing to this in my vows...

Oh, the things you do for the one you love. MountainMan and I happily...I mean MountainMan happily got up at 5:00am to go duck hunting. I agreed because there was coffee involved and I got to bring my new camera.

It was early, but man was that sunrise beautiful.

I by no means claim to be a morning person but there sure is something wonderful about spending time in the peaceful morning watching the beauty of God unfold before your eyes.

It may not be my first choice to get up a such an absurd hour as 5:00am but I have learned the value of spending shoulder-to-shoulder time with MountainMan. This is something valuable I learned about in the book Love & Respect. I walk beside my husband, of course, with coffee in hand.

Wack that duck, baby!

Like it or not...Your wagon is hitched to mine.

I like cheese when its on my pizza or in Pioneer Woman's homemade Macaroni and Cheese (which is amazing by the way), but I'm not so much for the cheesy type. Now that I have given that disclaimer I feel I'm allowed to be little cheesy...just for a second.
MountainMan once told me while we were driving to chop down a Christmas tree that he's happy he married me because "Its just like hanging out with your best friend all the time." Of course, my heart melted, like super melty cheese, when he said that. And I couldn't agree more. It is pretty awesome to get to be with my best friend everyday.

This blog shall make the adventures of MountainMan (the husband), Jackson (the ridiculously adorably and equally ornery Chesapeake), and myself (the aspiring Pioneer Woman). Side Note: The Pioneer Woman is my latest hero for her amazing recipes and her refreshing whit.

It Moose Be Love was inspired by my love for moose, both in beauty and taste. MountainMan shot a moose last year right before he hunted for me. Moose was one of the first things we talked about and now we chat over a meal made with moose. It seems a little strange, I know....It moose be love.
